Ralph "Max" Maxwell Pendergrass

Ralph "Max" Maxwell Pendergrass II - 57, of Denton, North Carolina, passed Thursday, December 9, 2021. He was born June 30, 1964, in High Point, North Carolina, to the late Ralph Maxwell Pendergrass I and Edna Roberson. Max enjoyed racing, fishing at the ocean, football, especially his favorite team the Redskins, spending time with family, where he was infamous for his fish fries. He also enjoyed hunting, baseball, and college basketball, especially rooting for his favorite teams the Tar Heels and the Braves. Max had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. He left a huge void and will be truly missed. In additional to his parents, Max was preceded in death by his daughter, Tara Pendergrass, and his niece, Tosha. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Angel Pendergrass; two stepsons, Kyle (Crystal) and Ryan; three loving siblings, Debbie Asbury (Robbie), Teresa Roberson (Mike), and Ricky Pendergrass (Teresa); grandsons, Ethan Absher and Bodie Pendergrass; nieces and nephews, Chad (Sarah), Brittany (Adam), Andy, Brooke (Sam), and Bryan (Ashley); great nieces and nephews, CJ, Savannah, Clay, Bryson, Emma, Addie, Hana, Ruby, Hailey, Layla, Devin, Aulbree, and Alexis. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held Friday, December 17, 2021, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Nicholson Funerals and Cremations, 1528 National Highway, Thomasville, NC 27360.
