Priscilla Childers

Priscilla L. Childers, 45, of Statesville, passed away, Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011 at her residence. Priscilla was born Feb. 1, 1966 in Concord, NC and was the daughter of the late Winston "John" Childers and Mary Ruth Taylor Childers. She was a graduate of South Rowan High School, class of 1984 and Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She was currently a student at Johnson &Wales University. Priscilla is survived by special friend, Winnie Tuck of Statesville, close friends, The Wilson and Tuck Families of South Boston, VA, one sister, Lydia Perry and husband Rick, of China Grove, NC, one brother, Mark Childers and wife, Tracy of China Grove and six nieces and nephews, Lauren Perry, Bryson Perry, Cameron Perry, Stephen Perry, Luke Childers and Lexie Childers. Funeral services will be conducted 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Sherrod officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday at Nicholson Funeral Home from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Burial will be held in Virginlina, VA on Monday afternoon.
