Pauline "Peggy" Virginia Wilhelm

Ms. Pauline "Peggy" Virginia Wilhelm, 88, of Statesville, passed away, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Davis Regional Medical Center. Ms. Wilhelm was born August 19, 1927 in Iredell County to the late Elmer and Isa Mitchell Wilhelm. She was a graduate of Statesville Senior High, Mitchell Community College and Phifer University. She was a life-long member of Christ Boulevard United Methodist Church and retired as the Director of Religious Education. Ms. Wilhelm is survived by three brothers, John Ray Wilhelm (Polly), Robert Jay Wilhelm (Ethel), Bobby W. Wilhelm (Joyce) all of Statesville, one sister, Fannie Lou Shives of Statesville, special nephew, Harvey McCollum (Shirley) and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille McCollum and one brother, Jimmy Wilhelm. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Thompson officiating. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
