Paul Donald Cook

Mr. Paul Donald Cook, 71, of Statesville, passed away, Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Mr. Cook was born January 6, 1946 in Iredell County to the late Jesse Cook and Blanche Duncan Cook. He attended Iredell County school and was married to Betty White Cook, who survives. He previously worked for Paola Mills in Statesville and was a faithful member of Fern Hill Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four step-children, Ricky Lambert (Debra) of Statesville, Terry Lambert of Statesville, Robin Lambert (Judy) of Statesville, Sheri Lippard (David) of Statesville, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Fern Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Stroud officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday evening 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home.
