Patsy Newland

Mrs. Patsy Ruth Newland 86 passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 after a long illness at the White Oak Manor Nursing home in Lancaster SC. She was born in Iredell County October 7, 1927 to the late Joseph S Brewer and Virginia Ethel Brewer. She was a graduate of Scott's High school and worked in hospitality management. Patsy had a marvelous personality with a great love for life and family. She is survived by her children that love her dearly, one daughter Lisa Gay Reavis of Mt. Holly, NC and one son Eric Blain Newland of Camden, SC She had four granddaughters that she cherished; Amy Dionne Sigmon, Ashlea Elizabeth Howell, Erin Paige Newland, Mackenzie Grace Newland and four great granddaughters. Tayler Nichole Sigmon, Kayla LaShae Sigmon, Addyson James Price, Aubrey Elizabeth Howell, She is further survived by two sisters Margie Femester, Thelma Ballard and one brother Jimmy Brewer. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2014, in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like to wish our great appreciation to the staff of White Oak Manor for all their genuine care and compassion over the years they have shown our mother.
