Mrs. Patsy Little Gregory, 65, of Lakeside Dr., Statesville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem following a brief illness. She was born October 22, 1945 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late R. Mac Little and Zelda Hefner Little. She was a graduate of Scotts High School and was married to O.C. Gregory, Jr. (Junior) in 1965. She was retired from the Furniture Industry and had worked for Orbit in Statesville and later with Southern Furniture in Catawba County. Patsy was a member of Monticello United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by one sister, Bobbie L. Keller and brother-in-laws, Melvin Brown and Tommy Keller. Mrs. Gregory is survived by her husband, O.C. Gregory, Jr. (Junior), one daughter, Tracie Gregory Pope, one son, Marc Stephen Gregory and wife, Amy, three grandchildren, Taylor Gregory, Gregory Pope and Caitlynn Gregory. Patsy is also survived by three sisters, Judy L. Stikeleather and husband, Thaddeus, Brenda L. Woodfin and husband, Tommy and Carole L. Brown, along with a number of nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate the life of Patsy will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Monticello United Methodist Church with Rev. Jill Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Tim, Tony, Chris and Kevin Stikeleather, Joey Clendenin and Ralph Church. Honorary pallbearer will be Dean Lunsford. The family will be assembled at the home but will visit with friends on Monday evening 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Monticello United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Monticello United Methodist Church, 308 Island Ford Rd., Statesville, NC 28625. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Gregory.
