Patricia Sue Morton

Patricia Sue Wilkinson Morton, 78, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was born in Iredell County on August 27, 1939 to the late Everette Eugene and Hazel Lofland Wilkinson. Patricia was a graduate of Statesville Senior High School and had worked as manager of Master Host Inn most of her career. She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church. Patricia was one of eight children and cared deeply for her seven siblings. She lived her life for her children and grandchildren, always putting them first before her needs. She will be greatly missed. Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Jimmy Morton and Andrew Morton (Cindy); a daughter, Suzy M. Shaffer (Doug); and eight grandchildren including Lauren, who lived with Patricia for awhile. There are no formal services planned at this time.
