Pamela Sue Alverson

Pamela Sue Alverson, 72, of Statesville, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Gordon Hospice House.

She was born August 20, 1946, in Adrian, Michigan, to the late Howard Alverson and Eleanor Higley Alverson. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Frederick Kowalski.

Pamela was a graduate of Adrian High School in Adrian, Michigan and was a retired medical billing specialist with Womens Heath Center in Mooresville.

She loved painting, reading, her cats, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

Pamela is survived by a daughter; Denise Frederick Diedering (Lonnie) of Carrollton, Texas, a son; Howard Frederick (Leigh) of Sherrills Ford, NC, 4 grandchildren; Zackery and Nikolas Frederick, Ryan Diedering, and Carmen Kowalski, and 2 sisters; Jill Alverson of Adrian, Michigan and Penny Alverson of Statesville.

A memorial service for Pamela will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Fitzgerald officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
