Olivia Joy Goforth

Olivia Joy Robbins Goforth, 75, of Statesville, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 25, 1942 to the late Jesse Martin Robbins and Lola Kale Robbins.



Olivia attended Statesville City Schools and worked in Textiles most of her career. She was married to Billy Ray Goforth who preceded her in death on May 21, 2014. The shared over 38 years of marriage before his passing. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.



Along with her parents and husband, Billy, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Cook and Thelma Turner, and three brothers, Jesse Jr., Garrison, and Arnold Robbins.



Left to cherish her memory are her son, Randall "Skeet" Ham (Jean); a daughter, Windy Sapp (Bryant); five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one brother, Rodney Robbins (Joyce).



A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Friday, February 2, 2018 at Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Blaine Keaton officiating. The family will visit with friends at Nicholson Funeral Home prior to the service from 10:00 until 10:45 am.
