Olivia Jade Wingate

Miss Olivia Jade Wingate, 25, of Statesville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 26, 2016. Born in Iredell County on March 12, 1991, she was a daughter of Richard Wingate of Statesville and Candace Walker Monk of Troutman. Olivia was a member of Moss Chapel United Methodist Church and worked for Golden Gate Car Rental in Charlotte. She played softball at Alexander Central where she graduated and also attended Mitchell Community College. She was also an animal lover. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her step father, Ed Monk, a brother, Richard Wingate, Jr., a sister, Alexa Cleveland and her paternal grandmother, Maudie Quesenberry. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Moss Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Mitchell Rash officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday evening at Nicholson Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent online to the family to www.nicholsonfunerals.com.
