Norma Jean Hall Harder

March 27, 1941 — July 24, 2022

Heaven celebrated the arrival of Norma Jean Hall Harder on July 24, 2022. Born March 27, 1941 in Iredell County to the late Allen Jones Hall and Mattie Pearl Crouse Hall.



Upon graduating from Scotts High School, Norma moved to south Florida where she enjoyed two careers. First in Restaurant management and then Healthcare management. She retired from Florida Hospital, Orlando, FL in 2007.



Norma was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Harder, infant daughter, Kimberle Jean Wentz, grandson, Peter James Avramis, five brothers, Mack Hall, Leonard Hall, Dalphus "Dick" Hall, Henry Hall and Lewis Hall; half sister, Mae Cloer; and two half brothers, Paul and Freeman Hall and three sisters, Dorothy Campbell, Lala Wood and Elsie Kamps,



She is survived by a daughter, Terri Lynn Avramis, grand-daughter, Kymberly Avramis Schaller, her precious great grand-daughter, Charlie Mae, grandsons, Donnie Avramis and Brandon Avramis, all of NY, two step-daughters, Vickie Bartley (Dan) and Sande Harder and many grandchildren of PA, and sisters, Lois Tomlin and Lucy Money (Paul).



Special thanks to Judy Keighron, NP and her staff for their tremendous help through her extended illness. Also for the support of nieces, Amy Barnes, Cheri Ellis, Debra Brotherton and Pamela Peterson. And to Pastor Darren Johnson and Hebron Baptist Church family for their prayers and support.



A service to celebrate the life of Norma Harder will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 5th, 2022, at Hebron Baptist Church with the Reverend Darren Johnson officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service at the church.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hebron Baptist Church, 175 Hebron Rd., Statesville, NC 28625.
