Ms. Wilma Mae Lackey Blackston

Wilma Mae Lackey, age 80, peacefully ascended into heaven on April 28th, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents Preston Day and Eva Jane Lackey and her elder brother Wendell Lackey.

Wilma was an extremely accomplished woman who graduated with an HS Dipolma and later became a Union Stewardess for the Federal Government, as well as a Foster Mother. She was a jack of all trades with many talents such as being a painter. However, her most known talent was her ability to be compassionate with everyone. She was a loving mother and loved by many.

She is survived by her five children: Robin, Robert (Mary), Kimberly, Tylanda, and Carrie (James). Grandchildren: Kenyata, Micah, Shain, Shaila, Shaizon, Jay'ln, Kennidee and Jayla.

Great-grandchildren: Paul, Jarin, Joshua, Jaden, Ayana and J
