Ms. Cassandra Gale Lewis Moore

Cassandra Gale Lewis Moore, age 73, of Thomasville, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Westchester Manor in High Point. Born on May 28, 1949, in Davidson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Dolin and Beatrice Hoskins Lewis.



Ms. Moore was a life-time member of Bethel Tabernacle Holiness Church in Thomasville. She enjoyed crocheting, watching game shows, and collecting teddy bears.



In addition to her parents, Dolin and Beatrice Hoskins Lewis, she was preceded in death by her siblings, David Lewis, Ethel Fant, William Lewis, Jerome Lewis, and Ruby Whitsett.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Curtis Lewis (Tanya); daughter, Elizabeth Moore; grandchildren, Shantelle Cribb, Kristion Moore, Celine Alvarez, Curisma Lewis, Curtis Lewis, Jr., Cameron Lewis, Carlos Lewis, and Chassidee Lewis; great-grandchildren, Serena Cribb, William Collins, Jr., Payton Moore-Heitkamp, Riley Moore-Heitkamp, Tobias Moore-Heitkamp, Jackie Moore-Heitkamp, Alarick Moore-Heitkamp, and Topanga Moore-Heitkamp; sisters, Essie Cannon (William), Olivia Rice, Hatti Jackson (Robert), Thelma Coard (Julius), and Delma Hairston (Lawrence); brother, Warren Lewis, Sr. (Kimberly); sister cousin, Willie Pinkney; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends; and a special friend of 30 years, Kenneth Ruff.



A Celebration of her Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Bethel Tabernacle Holiness Church, 105 Forsyth St., Thomasville, NC. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service beginning at 12:30 pm at the church.



In lieu of the weather, a graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 3, 2022, at Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery, 1550 NC-62, High Point, NC 27263.



In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family of Ms. Moore, 102 Turner St., Thomasville, NC 27360.
