Mrs. Kay Lynn Allen

Kay Lynn Allen, 72, of Statesville, died Saturday, January 30, 2021 at her home. Born in San Francisco, California on February 26, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Lou Cameron and Billie Riggins. She was an artist and cat lover. She enjoyed raising her children, teaching art to her grandchildren and coffee.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Allen, a son, Desmond Campbell (Alana), two daughters, Desiree Allen and Lara Allen (Mike Bustle), along with a sister, Laura Cameron. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Aspen, Maggie, Eva, DJ, and Chanty.

Services celebrating Kay's life will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Nicholson Funeral Home with James Lewis, Celebrant officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
