Mrs. Gloria Rumore Batz

Mrs. Gloria Rumore Batz, 65, of Statesville, died Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Born in Stanford, Conn. On March 6, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Rumore and Gloria DiSesa . She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, camping and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Norman Edgar Batz, a daughter, Johnna Myers, a son, Norman Andrew Batz and two granddaughters: Keonna Audrey-Ray Coulter and Eleanor Grace Batz. Also surviving are a brother, William Joseph Rumore and three sisters, Diane Woods, Pam Lucas and Dawn Goodwin.

Services celebrating Gloria's life will be conducted at 6 :00 P.M. Monday at Nicholson Funeral Home with Rev. James Lewis officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
