STATESVILLE- Mrs. Betty Lou Parker Keller, 77, passed away on November 8, 2019 at her home unexpectedly.

Born on October 18, 1942 in Iredell County she was the daughter to the late Clarence Lee and Dollie Benfield Parker. Mrs. Betty was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed helping anyone in need and going to yard sales.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by daughter, Wendy Keller Benfield; great-grandson, Lane Keller and two brothers, Larry and Steven Parker.

Left to cherish her loving memory is her husband on 59 years, Melvin Keller; children, Dennis (Maria) Keller, Timmy (Tina) Keller and Lisa McCreary; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Ann (Tommy) Stewart and many other loving family members.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 1pm in the chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Pharr officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will gather and receive friends from 12-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
