Mr. Charles Marshall Jernigan

Charles Marshall Jernigan, 69, of Statesville passed away Monday August 22, 2022.

Charles was born March 22, 1953, to the late Deloy Jernigan and Frances Cullen Jernigan. He served honorably in the National Guard for 6 years. Charles was known for his sense of humor; he was always making people laugh. Charles loved sports, he was a fan of Duke Basketball and the Panthers football team. He was also an avid fisherman.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Debra Jernigan; Sisters, Marsha Harris of Marion, NC and Dolores Jenkins of Big Canoe, GA; Sister-in-law, Janet Boseman (Ron) of Statesville, NC and Kelly Davis ( Kevin Spence) of Statesville, NC ; nephew, Ryan Moore; nieces, Lindsay ( Mark) Grindell, Heather Harvey and Melissa Sowers.

Mr. Jernigan is preceded in death by his parents, Deloy Jernigan and Frances Jernigan.

A memorial service will be held at Rose Chapel United Methodist in Statesville on Sunday August 28, 2022 at 4PM. Previous Events
