Mr. Archie G. Bridges

Mr. Archie G. Bridges, 67, of Statesville, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at home surrounded by his family following a brief illness.

He was born March 15, 1953 in Iredell County to Solon and Dorothy Lucille Dishman Bridges. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He attended North Iredell High School and retired from Pepsi-Cola after 25 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Kay Marie Parks Bridges, their four children: Marla (Gerald) Pardue, Archie Jr. (Sandy) Bridges, Kristi (Darrin) Land and Rebecca (Joey) Jackson. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren he absolutely adored. Also surviving are his sister, Jane (Bobby) Henderson, nieces and numerous other family members also remain to honor his memory.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Abilene Church Of Christ Cemetery with Mr. Jack Limpsey officiating.
