Montie Stephen Lippard

Montie Stephen Lippard, 65, of Statesville, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Mr. Lippard was born July 8, 1950 in Iredell County and was the son of Robert Lewis Lippard of Statesville and the late Macie Dixon Lippard. He was a graduate of Statesville City Schools and was of the Baptist Faith. He worked for Acme Metal Slide since 1968 and he deeply loved his nieces and nephews. He was a caregiver of his autistic cousin, Larry Keith Hager and also of his father, Lewis Lippard. In addition to his father, he is survived by three sisters, Gloria Redmond Sutter (Gary) of Statesville, Tami Lippard Kincaid (John) of Statesville, Terry Lippard Fulp (Michael) of Statesville, two nephews, Jamie Charles Redmond (Klra) of Prague, Czech Republic, Shannon Michael Fulp (Jacklynn) of Greenville, TX; one niece, Brittany Nichole Fulp Adams (Michael) of Hiddenite, three great nieces, Heaven Leigh Phillips, Chloe Joe Fulp, Emma Redmond and a special cousin, Larry Keith Hager. He was preceded in death by one great niece, Layla Michel Adams. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Holleman and Rev. Carl Williams officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home. Burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Iredell Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Clarence "Cartoonie" Jones, Tony Trivette, Charles Fisher, Scottie Taylor, Dale Lewallen and Tony Shepherd.
