Mitchell Alan Corbett

January 15, 1963 — February 5, 2018

Mitchell Alan Corbett, 55, formally of Statesville, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on January 15, 1963 in Kingstree, SC to the late Mitchell and Connie Tuten Corbett, who survives.



Alan attended West Iredell High School and was married to Terri Kretzler Corbett, who survives. He was owner/operator of Alco Construction in San Antonio. Alan was a loving, caring person who lived life to the fullest.



Along with his father, Mitch, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Kay Ingram.



Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Connie; his wife, Terri; one son, Bryan Corbett (Alexandria); two grandsons, Hudson Corbett and Trey Wright; two sisters, Libby Ireland (Johnny) and Debra Campbell; a step-son, David Shafer; two step-daughters, Dayna Shafer and Shanna Maul; and numerous nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Beulah Baptist Church with Fred Tuten and Pastor Otis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Stony Point Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at Beulah Baptist Church Friday evening, February 16, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Following the service and at other times, the family will be assembled at the residence of Bryan Corbett.
