Miss Amy Darice Gibson

Miss Amy Darice Gibson, 51, of Statesville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. Born in Iredell County on November 2, 1968, she was beloved daughter of William L. (Bill) Gibson and Joyce Shaver Gibson. Amy was a member of Mountain Road Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Quest in Troutman.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Andy Gibson and his wife, Wendy, her Maternal Grandmother, Thelma W. Wilson, two nieces, Emiley and Anna Gibson and a host of aunts and uncles including: Alene Lippard, Alice Redmond, Holly Whitaker, Mickey Shaver and Scott Wilson.

Services celebrating Amy's life will be conducted t 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Mountain Road Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Fox officiating. The family will greet friends at the church from 1:00 to 3:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow at South River Baptist Church Cemetery.
