Michael Eugene Southard

Michael Eugene Southard, age 56, passed away June 19, 2024, in his sleep at his residence.

He was born February 24, 1968, in Iredell County to the late Ramon Southard and the late Barbara G. Southard. He had one brother, the late Scott Douglass Southard.

Michael, also known as Pokey, was known for his wicked sense of humor and spent most of his life working for the cable company. He spent countless hours playing his Call of Duty and will surely be missed in the gaming universe.

Left to cherish his memories are his fiancé, Jennifer Hennessey, daughters, Barbara Southard (Timothy Huffman, Caitlyn Greenlee, Colby Southard, Cynthia Huffman), Tiffany Porter (Ted Porter, Jesse Yeomans, Oakley Porter, Everly Porter), Jadyn Southard, son John Southard, stepmother, Betty Southard, and numerous other family members and friends.

Services will be held later.
