Michael O'Neil Lloyd

Michael O'Neil Lloyd, 56, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Michael was born September 3, 1961 in Iredell County and was the son of the late Gary O'Neil Lloyd and Rosa Horton Lloyd, who survives of Statesville. He was a graduate of South Iredell High School and on June 21, 1980, he was married to Geneda Moore Lloyd. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and was working with Country Boy Landscaping. In addition to his mother and wife of 37 years, Michael is survived by two sons, Jason O'Neil Lloyd (Allyson) of Statesville, Adam Michael Lloyd (Emily) of Statesville, two special granddaughters, Sydney Lloyd and Ada Lloyd, one brother, Todd Lloyd (Pam) of Statesville, brother-in-law, Dwayne Moore (Terrell) of Statesville and sister-in-law, Sonja Moore of Statesville. A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Western Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Leonard officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service and at other times will assemble at the Lloyd residence.
