Michael "Mike" Robert Bailes

Michael "Mike" Robert Bailes, 52, of Statesville, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital due to complications from a bone marrow transplant. He was born on September 19, 1965 in Uniontown, PA. Michael was married on May 6, 2000 to Patricia "Trish" Dobson, who survives. They shared over 17 years of marriage before his passing. He had worked at Brian Center as a CNA. Let to cherish his memory are his wife, Trish; three brothers, one sister, and his favorite kids, Dingleberry and Brandi. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00pm. The family would like to thank all the nurses in ICU at Baptist Hospital for their support and care.
