Melba Cocilo

Melba Lorene Eagle Cocilo, 83, of Statesville, NC died Friday, September 09, 2011 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Cocilo was born in Alexander County on July 18, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Margaret Lambert Eagle. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Benedict John Cocilo. Mrs. Cocilo was a member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church and a retiree from Intercraft Industries. She was also a post World War Two veteran having served in the United States Women's Army Corp in Fort Lee, Virginia.
