Mary "Peggy" Blake

Mary Blake, known fondly as Peggy, went home to be with the Lord and rejoined with her loved one's on Friday, March 26, 2021.

Peggy was born June 5, 1924, in a small village in the mountains of southwestern Virginia between Salem and Roanoke, known as Lafayette. She married George H Blake, JR on November 14, 1946.

Her three children, Bill, Brenda and David, survive her. She is preceded by her beloved husband, George; her parents, Bill and Elva; and her son-in-law, Charles Lawrence.

Peggy was a devoted wife, loving mother and a loyal friend and will be missed by all. Her detailed obituary along with pictures are on the Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Home Fort Worth, TX web site.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Nicholson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Cemetery Details
