Mary Mozelle Lambert

Mary Mozelle Cavin Lambert, 85, of Statesville, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Gordon Hospice House. Born in Iredell County on May 21, 1930, she was a daughter of the late R.G.(Glenn) Cavin, Sr. and Leona Wilkinson Cavin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Albert C. Lambert, a son-in-law, Robert Dalton, Sr., brothers, R.G. Cavin, Jr. and Larry Cavin and a sister, Pamela Rose Cavin. Mrs. Lambert was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church Of Troutman. She enjoyed playing piano, loved animals and had a strong faith always saying she was looking forward to seeing Jesus. She was a loving, caring and very appreciative person. She dearly loved her grandson and great grandchildren who were the loves of her life. She attended Troutman School. Survivors include a daughter, Jill Dalton of Statesville, a brother, Charles Cavin of Troutman, a grandson, Robert Dalton, Jr. (Iris) and great grandchildren, Justin and Sean Dalton. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday August 20, 2016 at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott McGraw officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service and burial will follow in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
