Mary Elizabeth Linn

Mary Beth Linn, 79, of Harmony NC passed away Friday, December 20, 2024.

Originally from Tiltonsville, Ohio, Mary Beth was born on January 21, 1945 to Robert Magnus Johnson and Veronica Johnson. Mary Beth was an instant friend to all who met her and loved laughing and spending time together. Mary Beth was always smiling and cracking jokes. A competitive game player, she could beat anyone playing Up Words. She would help anyone in need and always enjoyed surprising people with her kindness. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for Thanksgiving and Christmas get- togethers. Her pride and joy was a spoiled chihuahua named Hercules.

In addition to her parents, Mary Beth is preceded in death by her husband Carl Linn and a sister, Jean Selva.

She is survived by her sister Jo Ellen Bott (Kelly) of Martins Ferry, Ohio, her grandson TJ Sparks of Statesville, NC, and many loved nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service was held at Wayside Baptist Church 212 Shiloh Rd Statesville NC on Saturday, December 28th at 11 am with Reverend Christopher Karter presiding.
