Mary Etta Soles

THOMASVILLE-Mrs. Mary Etta Burcham Soles, 76, of Thomasville, NC passed away at her home on August 22, 2021. Mary was born on November 21, 1944 to the late James Edmond and Mary Elizabeth Louya Burcham and worked at Thomasville Furniture Industries for over 50 years. Mrs. Soles was a hard-working woman and was a wonderful cook. People traveled for miles to taste her home cooking. And she always put her family first. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and played no favorites. In her spare time Mary loved listening to gospel music. In addition to her parents Mrs. Soles is preceded in death by her brother Johnny Burcham. Left to cherish her memories are her husband Ronald Eugene "Red" Soles, two sons Terry Soles (Ambera) of Thomasville and Timothy Scott Soles (Dawn) of Greensboro, two sisters Angela "Fay" Bostic of Lexington, and Lynn Grant (David) of Clemmons, three brothers Junior Burcham of Lexington, Keith Burcham of Lexington, and Billy Burcham of Lexington, sister-in-law Pat Burcham of Archdale, and six grandchildren. There are no services scheduled at this time.
