Marilyn Gail Benge

Mrs. Marilyn Gail Mundy Benge, 70, of Statesville, passed away, Thursday, November 24, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Benge was born January 14, 1946 in Catawba, NC and was the daughter of the late Harold and Alma Sipe Mundy. She was a graduate of Catawba county schools and was married to the late Howard Junior Benge. She was a homemaker, loved her family and especially her cats. She is survived by two sons, Steven Benge of Statesville, Dwayne Benge of Statesville, two grandchildren, Allyssa Brooks (Chaysen) of NC, Bailey Benge of NC and one sister, Carolyn Mundy of Newton, NC. Funeral services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Humane Association. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the family of Marilyn Benge.
