Marie Prevo Saunders passed away on October 13, 2018 in Statesville, NC after an extended illness. Born in Franklinville, NC on June 30, 1930, she was a mother, an artist, a businesswoman and a service club member. Marie frequently acknowledged how blessed a life she had been granted - a beautiful family, many friends, extensive travels to places she never could have imagined she would see in her lifetime, her professional accomplishments as a business owner and years of service as a member and president of Quota Club, a service organization to the deaf community. She made the most of the life she had been given, brought joy to those around her, made a difference in the world and will be greatly missed by many.
