Marian Byers

Mrs. Marian Kingston Byers, 84, of Statesville, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, at Maple Leaf Healthcare. Mrs. Byers was born in Tionesta, PA. and was the daughter of the late Albert Kingston and Elizabeth Combs Kingston. She was a graduate of Tionesta High School and was married to Leon Fredrick Byers, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Left to cherish he memory are two sons, Randy Byers (Heather) of Statesville, and Edward Byers (Cindy) of Belmont along with one daughter, Tammi Byers of Union Grove. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Elyse Byers of Statesville and two sisters, Shirley Barr and Della Caldwell, both of PA. Memorial services celebrating the life of Marian Byers will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 318 James Farm Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
