Margie Louise Warren

Margie Louise Warren, 93, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017. She was born in Catawba County on October 24, 1924 to the late Ed and Eva May Fox Warren. Margie was a graduate of Troutman High School and loved farming with her father and family. She enjoyed cooking and was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Stony Point. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Ronnie (Rollin),and four sisters, Helen Warren, Lee Patsel, Iva Cave, and Roberta (Blanche) Brown. Left to cherish her memory are her four brothers, Donald Warren (Marlene) of Statesville, Robert Warren of Charlotte, Paul Warren of Troutman, and Hoover Warren of Maryland; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. J.B. Parker, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1:30 until 2:00pm.
