Margaretina Ervin

Margaretina "Tina" Gregory Ervin, 68, of Statesville, passed away, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.



Mrs. Ervin was born May 22, 1949 in Iredell County to the late Hubert Cleatus Gregory and Margaret Meadows Gregory. She was a graduate of Iredell County schools and worked in Furniture Manufacturing. On September 30, 1993, she was married to Donald Fields Ervin, who survives.



In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael Gregory (Sandra), Ronald Goshorn and one daughter, Lori G. Kincaid (Tia) all of Statesville, one step-daughter, DeAnne Ramos (Hugo) of Statesville, three step-sons, Donald Edward Holzworth of Georgetown, SC, Michael Matthew Holzworth (Jennifer) of Statesville, Daniel Paul Holzworth of Mt. Airy; one brother, Hubert Lee "Buck" Gregory, Sr. of Stony Point, 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Steele and one brother, Lynnie Gregory



Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jamie Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday evening 6:00-8:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Hodges, Hugo Ramos, Brandon Gregory, Edward Blankenship, Lee Gregory, Curtis Moore and Mark Bogle.
