Margaret Wooten Everidge

Margaret Wooten Everidge, 92, of Statesville, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Statesville Manor. She was born in Yadkin County on February 23, 1923 to the late J.B. Wooten and Nora Lee Campbell Wooten. Mrs. Everidge was a graduate of Yadkin County Schools and was married to Grady Lewis Everidge who preceded her in death on January 11, 2005. She was retired from UniGlass Industries where she was a machine operator. She was a long time member of Pressley Memorial ARP Church. Along with her parents and husband, Grady, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Ramonia Ann Everidge and Carol Sue Everidge Elliott and her husband, James Ernest Elliott Sr. Left to cherish her memory are one grandson, James Ernest Elliott, Jr. and wife, Michaela Marie Elliott of Picayune, Mississippi; one granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn Thompson and husband, Robert Anthony Thompson of Albemarle. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday Sep. 16, 2015 at Pressley Memorial ARP Church with Dr. Stephen Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
