Margaret "Kippy" Kipling Josey Patterson

Margaret Kipling "Kippy" Josey Patterson, 58, passed away June 22, 2022, at Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville. Kippy was born December 27, 1963, in Iredell County to the late Lonnie "Allen" Josey and Donna Josey of Statesville. Kippy was an assistant manager at Bojangles' for over ten years, and she loved her customers and coworkers as much as they loved her in return. She dearly loved, and was dearly loved by, her family. She enjoyed crafts, classic television programs, and was an avid trivia buff. She was a loving, caring soul with an outgoing personality who never met a stranger.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Donna Dixon Josey of Statesville, her two daughters, Britney Josey Lege of Statesville and Ashley Hope Patterson of Cape Coral, FL, one sister, Amanda Josey Starbuck of Statesville, one brother, Jeffrey Allen Josey (Melody) of Statesville, two grandchildren, Aiden Wayne Lege and Ashlyn Paige Lege. She was further survived by two nephews, Mathew Starbuck and Eli Josey, and two nieces, Madison Starbuck and Brieanna Josey.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Nicholson Funeral Home.
