Mack Odell Anderson

Mr. Mack Odell Anderson, 66, of Statesville, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born in Asheboro, N.C. on October 10, 1949, he was a son of the late Mack Odell Anderson and Pansy Jane Farmer Anderson. He was retired from the N.C. Dept. Of Transportation and was a member of Fern Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, especially in carp tournaments with his best friend and fishing buddy, Eddie. Survivors include a son, Jonathan Anderson (Crystal), of Statesville, 3 grandchildren: Lexus, Alyssa and Savannah and a sister, Shirley Anderson of Lenoir. Memorial services will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at Fern Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jessse Stroud officiating. The family will speak with friends following the service.
