Lucy Lela Dennis

Lucy Lela Dennis, age 69, of Lexington passed away October 11, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital of Lexington. She was born December 25, 1951 in Brunswick County, North Carolina the daughter of the late Wilbert Penn Dennis and Lucy Hannah Gibson Dennis. She is also preceded in death by her son Antonio Monroe Dennis. Lucy was a devoted and loving mother who cherished the time she spent with her family and adored her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Penny Dennis (Ricky); son, Jimmy Dennis; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, James "Buddy" Dennis (Doris); and numerous other loving family and friends. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
