Louise Daniels Creedmore

Katherine Louise Daniels Creedmore, 92, of Statesville passed away Friday, October 02, 2015 at the Gordon Hospice House. She was born in Iredell County on June 29, 1923 to the late Flake C. and Martha Southers Daniels. Mrs. Creedmore attended Central School and on May 30, 1942 married M. B. Creedmore, Jr. who preceded her in death on December 3, 2007. They had over 65 years of marriage before his passing. She worked in textiles having worked at Buck Knitting, and Jansen. She was a life-long member of Hebron Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 29 years, sang in the choir for 42 years, worked with GA Girls, and helped form two mission groups. She loved everyone she met and will be missed by all. Along with her parents and husband, M.B., she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence, Wade, Dwight and Herman Daniels. Mrs. Creedmore is survived by two daughters, Grace C. Anderson (Maurice) and Frances C. Horton (Robert), both of Statesville; five grandchildren, Jeffery Anderson, Marcia Wortman (Derick), Carrie Biehler (Devin), Michelle Benton (Roger), and Katherine Elkes (Marty); ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren, three sisters, Ruth D. Creedmore, Marie D. Cheek, and Faye D. Hartness; one brother, Grady Daniels (Viola), and one sister-in-law, Willie Daniels. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Darren Johnson and Rev. Steven Rector officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends in the sanctuary following the service.
