Lottie Lee Farnsworth

February 26, 1917 — May 5, 2017

Mrs. Lottie Lee Gish Farnsworth, 100, of Statesville and formerly of Jackson, Michigan, died May 5, 2017 at the Gordon Hospice House. She was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Artie B. (Webb) Eblen and was born February 26, 1917 in Oscar, Ky. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Gish and second husband, William Farnsworth. Survivors include a son, Thomas E. (Beverly) Gish, Sr. of Statesville, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She moved to Statesville in 2006 to be near her son. Family meant the most to Lottie. She enjoyed being outdoors at family gatherings, cook outs, trips to her son's condominium in North Myrtle Beach and spending time in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Pets were never her desire until she moved to Statesville and fell in love with her son's two dogs, Bogey and Coco. A celebration of her life was held at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson, Michigan on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. The family would like to thank Patricia Salem, her in-home health provider, the doctors and caregivers on the third floor of Davis Regional Medical Center and the caregivers at the Gordon Hospice House for the care they gave Lottie during her illness.
