Lisa Holt Elledge

Lisa Nichole Holt Elledge, 51, of Harmony died Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.

She was born in Iredell County on February 14, 1970 to Ronald W. Holt and the late Jane Blackwelder Abernethy.

Lisa was a graduate of Statesville High School, Mitchell Community College and Catawba College. She was an Administrative Associate for the North Carolina Department of Environment Quality and enjoyed working part time at Michaels. She loved the beach, crafting, animals, and spending time with those she loved. Lisa enjoyed meeting new people and spreading joy to those around her. She was known for her contagious laugh, welcoming smile, and caring heart. Everyone who knew Lisa, felt the love she had for others.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 22 years, David Elledge, a daughter, Courtney Jane Elledge, her father and stepmother, Ronald and Sheila Jacobs Holt, her stepfather, Ronnie Abernethy, a brother, Darren Holt (Kerri) and their daughter, Hailey Ann Holt. Two Brother In-Laws Jason Harris (Janet), Andrew Harris (Trisha), and Sister In-Law Amy Sherrill, as well as several nieces, nephews, friends, extended family, and work family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 11:00 am at Rose Chapel UMC with Rev. Gary Camp and Rev. Brian Burgess officiating. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.
