Linda Crawford

Linda Deal Crawford, 76, of Statesville, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the Gordon Hospice House. Ms. Crawford was born May 31, 1937, in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late James Howard Deal and Maude Jordan Deal. She was formerly married to Wesley Brown Crawford. Ms. Crawford was a graduate of Scotts High School, was a member of South River Baptist Church, and was formerly employed with Statesville Carpet in sales. Mrs. Crawford enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends in fellowship. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia C. Johnson (Rick) and two sons, Sidney Brown Crawford (Donna) and Wesley Todd Crawford (Lisa), all of Statesville. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Courtney Johnson Seese (Brian) of Mooresville and three grandsons, Chad Andrew Johnson (Stephanie) of Davidson, Dustin Wrenn Crawford and Sidney Dylan Crawford, both of Troutman. One great-granddaughter, Autumn Rose Seese, one great-grandson, Philip Andrew Johnson along with one brother and three sisters also survive. Private graveside services for Mrs. Crawford will be conducted Wednesday, February 19, 2014, with Dr. Chris Thompson officiating.
