Linda Casey

Linda Stevenson Casey, 60, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Iredell Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. Ms. Casey was born January 31, 1941 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Henry Leo Stevenson and Mable Baker Stevenson. She attended Iredell County schools and was formerly married to Brodie Casey, who preceded her in death. Ms. Casey was retired from T-Town Video where she worked as the store manager. In addition to her parents and former husband, Ms. Casey was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Marie Casey. Ms. Casey is survived by one son, Joel Casey and wife Gwen, of Statesville; two granddaughters, Jessica C. Smith and husband Joe, of Stony Point and Lyndsey Casey of the Statesville. She is also survived by one grandson, Matthey Casey and wife Heidi, of Statesville and one sister, Peggy Matheson and husband Calvin, of Troutman. She is further survived by four great-grandchildren and her faithful companion, Jackson, her Snoodle pup. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Monday, June 6, 2011 at Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. David Troutman officiating.
