Lillian Anna Gibat

THOMASVILLE - Mrs. Lillian Anna Royds Gibat, 91, of Thomasville, NC passed away at her home on March 21, 2021. Born March 27, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Phillip Anthony and Alice Palmer Royds, Mrs. Gibat is a member of Our Lady of the Highway Catholic Church and was faithful in her attendance and giving to her church. She was employed as a cashier for A&P Foods for over 35 years. Mrs. Gibat was a lifelong Philadelphia Phillies fan, and in her spare time loved working puzzles, knitting, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gibat is preceded in death by her husband John Boger Gibat, son Eugene Paldino, and three brothers Jerry Royds, Mickey Royds, and Charles Palmer. Left to cherish her memories are her son Gerald "Jerry" Paldino of Bala Cynwyd, PA, sister Lorraine Axe of California, brother Walter "Jim" Royds of Thomasville, NC, five grandchildren Jerry Paldino, Jr. (Joellen) of Plymouth Meeting, PA, Donna Hillanbrand (Daniel) of Thomasville, NC, Kimberly Paldino of Thomasville, NC, Peter Paldino (Danielle) of Cary, NC and Lisa Paldino of Creedmor, NC, eleven great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. There will be a private family service held. In lieu of flowers, family request that memorials be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org
