Laura Crawford Campbell

Mrs. Laura Crawford Campbell, 56, of Statesville, died Sunday at Forsyth Regional Medical Center. Born in Columbia, S.C. on May 11, 1961, she was a daughter of the late Fred Crawford and Barbara Fox Crawford. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a graduate of North Iredell High School. Survivors include her husband, Steve Wesley Campbell, two sons, Steven and Timothy Hancock, a step daughter, Wendy Jones of Concord, four grandchildren, Addison, Amy, Bailey, and Lawrence; and two step grandchildren, Cameron and Alexis. Also surviving are a brother, Craig Crawford of Statesville and three sisters: Janet Harris and Kim Johnson, both of Statesville and Mary Foster of Newton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
