Landon Adam Warren

Mr. Landon Adam Warren, 82, of Statesville, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 at his home.



Mr. Warren was born August 27, 1936 in Alexander County and was the son of the late Crowson and Omie Gant Warren. He was the second child of five children and attended Celeste Henkel School. On May 9, 1958, he married Phyllis Ann Gryder Warren and he was a long-distance truck driver for 41 years, having driven for Akers, Bowman and Old Dominion. Landon loved being around people and he never met a stranger. He was a jack of all trades and loved messing around on his farm.



In addition to his wife of 60 years, he is survived by two sons, Michael Landon Warren (Robin) of Statesville, Randall Adam Warren of Charlotte; two grandsons, Adam Tyler Warren, Andrew Michael Warren both of Statesville; one brother, Connelly Warren (Patricia) of Statesville and two sisters, Linda Sharpe of Statesville and Brenda Whitener (Robert) of Statesville. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Renee Warren.



Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Gryder officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
