Kurt Richard Grossman

LINWOOD- Mr. Kurt Richard Grossman, 57, of Linwood, NC passed away March 7, 2021 at Hospice of Davidson County. Mr. Grossman proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1982 to 1985 and was a truck driver for over 30 years. He was a man of strong faith and shared his love for the Lord with others. Kurt was a kindhearted, giving man who always wore a smile and brightened up the room whenever he came in and loved to make everyone laugh. Kurt loved spending time outdoors whether on the water or on the trails. Mr. Grossman is preceded in death by his father Richard Chester Grossman. He is survived by his mother Muriel Elizabeth Connelly-Grossman, three daughters Kristy Fougere (Ken) of Hingham, MA, Nicole Grossman (Corey) of Lexington, NC, and Ana Grossman of Linwood, NC, three grandchildren Sara Fougere, Natalie Fougere, and Sophia Jacobs, eight brothers and sisters Debbie Jacobs of PA, Karen Connelly of CA, Cathy Myatt (Joe) of NC, Steven Grossman of NC, Dena Crompton of UT, Jon Grossman (Jean) of CT, Danette Marlow of NC and Scott Grossman of NC and many beloved nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Wellspring Community Church, 600 May Road, Thomasville, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
