Kita Mae Tomlin

Kita Mae Tomlin, 83, of Statesville, entered her eternal home on March 5, 2018. She was born on April 14, 1934), to the late Alonzo Marlow and Ruth Marlow. She was married to the late Clyde Tomlin on April 15, 1982. She was of the Baptist faith.



Mrs Tomlin was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Reese; three sisters Evanell Marlow, Mrs. Virginia Hoke, Mrs. Jessie Morrison.



Mrs. Tomlin is survived by one son Sammy Henderson (Joy); one son in law Jerry Reese, both of Statesville; one sister Martha Smith (Jackie), of Hiddenite; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Tomlin also leaves behind a very special friend that loved and cared for her in her home for several years Ms. Charlene Reese that Kita lovingly referred to as Sis.



Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Sharon Snow officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. There will be a private family viewing at 10:00 am prior to the service.
