Kenneth Wilson Arthurs

Mr. Kenneth Wilson Arthurs, 85, of Troutman, died Friday at Brian Center of Mooresville. Born in Iredell County on February 2, 1931, he was a son of the late James Marvin Arthurs and Nellie Wilson Arthurs. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Harold Arthurs. He worked at Troutman Shirt Company and later retired from Romac Metals. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening and camping. Survivors include his wife, Debra Lynn Caldwell Arthurs, a brother, Jerry Arthurs of Troutman, sisters, Edith Benson and Naomi Riddle both of Troutman and Polly Davis of Mint Hill along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:30 A.M. Monday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Matt Emory officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service and burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military rites presented by the North Iredell American Legion.
