Kenneth Lee Hedrick

Mr. Kenneth Lee (Shad) Hedrick 64, of Conover, died Friday, December 25, 2015 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born in Catawba County on May 16, 1951, he was a son of the late Charles Hedrick and Ruby Sigmon Hedrick. Shad was a graduate of Bunker Hill High School. He was of the Lutheran faith and was disability retired from the furniture manufacturing industry as a cloth cutter. He enjoyed playing golf, watching TV and really enjoyed his work. He was preceded in death by his step son, Scotty Grey Myers in 2004. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lois Spann Hedrick of the home, a grandson, Cody Myers (Melissa) of Claremont, great grandchildren: Sara Myers, Dakota Myers and Mason Myers. Also surviving are a brother, Phillip Hedrick of Conover and a sister, Glenda Wright of Claremont. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Ervin officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 at Nicholson Funeral Home.
